Returns Page – Deta.e Website

We offer a 14 day returns policy for products purchased via the Deta.e website. Your product(s) can be returned to us within the 14 days from the date that the item was delivered to you. The item must be in pristine condition and come complete with the original undamaged packaging. The cost to return must be covered and organised by the customer.

Statutory Cancellation Right

You have the statutory right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days beginning with the day you receive the item.

Our Voluntary Returns Policy

As well as your statutory cancellation rights described above, you can return most products purchased from the Deta.e website to Deta.e within 14 days of receipt of the products if the products are in an unused and undamaged condition.

Please note that you must return each item in the same condition in which you received it. This means that new items must be returned unused and undamaged. Used items must not have any additional signs of use or damage.

The following products cannot be returned under the Returns Guarantee (unless defective):

Please use this form (link to be added) to request a return. Please state details for the return, your name, receipt/order number and address. Missing information may cause a delay.

To return the Product(s), you should package the parcel securely (making sure you include a note of your name and address and then return it to us, either by recorded delivery mail or another form of certified mail or, if the Product(s) are too bulky to return by mail, then by a suitable carrier, to the following address:

We advise that you take out enough postal/carriage insurance to cover the value of the contents. Please save your proof of posting/despatch and tracking information until your refund has been processed. You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Product(s) to us. We accept no liability for any loss or damage of Product(s) occurred in transit to us.

Faulty Products

If any Product you order is damaged or faulty when delivered to you or has developed a fault following installation, you may have one or more legal remedies available to you, depending on when you make us aware of the problem, in accordance with your legal rights. If you believe a Product was delivered damaged or faulty or has developed a fault, you should inform us as soon as possible, preferably in writing by email to customerservices.ce@deta.co.uk , giving your name, address and order reference.

Our refunds policy

If you return a product within the 14-day period (see above), we will carry out an inspection and notify you that it/ they have been received. If the return is approved, we will then start to process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days after the day on which we receive the Product(s) back or, if earlier, the day on which we receive evidence that you have returned the Product(s) to our returns address (see above).

We will refund the price paid in full (subject to any deduction we are entitled to make due to your use of or damage to the Product(s)), including the cost of standard delivery. However, we will not refund your cost of returning the Product(s) to us. If you received any promotional or other discount when you paid, any refund will only reflect the amount you actually paid.

Refunds are made using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase, unless agreed otherwise.
